Over the past couple of years, I became increasingly aware of how important the way we start our day is. It sets the tone for the energy I carry into my day. My goal is to keep my vibration high and increase it by what I am thinking, feeling, and doing all day. By all means, I am avoiding any form of stressful thoughts or actions, especially in the morning. And I carefully selected a number of things I choose as part of my morning routine. My routine pretty much starts the minute I wake up. Instead of letting my mind run loose like a dog that was chained all night long, I take it for a mindful walk. Why? Because right when we wake up we are in a different brain state, called Alpha level. It allows us to use both brain hemispheres and access other information areas in our brain and mind. I use it for creative ideas, problem-solving, guidance for what lies ahead of me that day. It affects my attitude, creativity as well as mental and physical performance during the day. Give it a try!
